Explore our selection of premium spooled welding wire engineered for smooth wire feeding, low spatter, and superior weld puddle control.
In the international industrial landscape, procuring MIG welding wire on 1kg spools (D100 spool standard) requires balancing mechanical reliability with logistical efficiency. China's manufacturing sector excels in this niche, driving significant cost-performance advantages for distributors, DIY retailers, and marine supply lines globally.
The competitive edge of choosing a leading Chinese manufacturer, such as Wulian Yuxin Hardware Equipment Co., Ltd., lies in our direct integration with world-class steel billet suppliers. Drawing standard ER70S-6 carbon steel or ER308L stainless steel requires precise raw material chemistry control. Wulian Yuxin maintains strict incoming quality inspection protocols to ensure trace elements like sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) remain below 0.025%, optimizing weld puddle fluid state and post-weld joint mechanical durability.
Furthermore, China’s industrial ecosystem in Shandong province provides unmatched manufacturing speed and shipping efficiency. Strategically located near Qingdao Port, our factory quickly ships orders to Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa. This direct logistics route cuts shipping costs and speeds up delivery times for international bulk buyers.
Founded in 2004, Wulian Yuxin has grown into a leading manufacturer of premium welding consumables, with all products meeting international standards like ISO9001 and CE.
We manufacture high-grade welding wires matching global classifications to ensure consistent mechanical performance in critical joint assemblies.
The industry standard for gas-shielded carbon steel welding. Formulated with high levels of manganese (Mn) and silicon (Si) deoxidizers to handle light mill scale and rust, yielding clean, porosity-free welds under CO2 or Argon/CO2 shielding gases.
Engineered with internal fluxing agents for high-deposition, structural welding. E71T-1C runs on external shielding gas, while gasless E71T-11 options are ideal for outdoor operations where wind disrupts gas shielding.
Including ER308L and ER316L grades, optimized for high corrosion resistance and high-tensile piping joints. The low-carbon chemistry prevents intergranular carbide precipitation during welding.

Unlike bulk spools, 1kg (D100) spools are widely used in compact portable machines and field work. For these lightweight systems with smaller drive motors, Precision Layer Winding (PLW) is essential. In PLW, the wire is spooled parallel loop by loop without cross-overs. This guarantees steady, low-friction feeding and protects small feed motors from overloading or burning out during field operations.
A standard D100 plastic spool has a nominal outer diameter of 100mm, a width of 45mm, and an arbor hole diameter of 16mm. These standardized parameters ensure compatibility with portable MIG welders from major brands like Lincoln, Miller, and ESAB. Ensuring dimensional tolerances are within ±0.5mm is a key part of our Quality Control protocol.
Another critical performance variable is Cast and Helix control. The cast refers to the diameter of a free loop of wire when released from the spool, while the helix represents the rise of the wire end from a flat surface. For 1kg spools, a cast diameter of 300mm to 800mm is required. If the cast is too small, the wire exits the contact tip with excessive curvature, causing poor joint tracking and accelerated contact tip wear. If the helix is too high, the wire twists out of the joint center, compromising bead shape and root fusion.
Established in 2004 in Wulian, Rizhao City, Shandong Province, Wulian Yuxin Hardware Equipment Co., Ltd. has grown from a regional manufacturer to an internationally certified producer of premium welding consumables. We operate a modern 15,000-square-meter production facility, complete with advanced wire-drawing machinery, inline chemical pickling plants, automated copper plating lines, and high-speed spooling units.
Our annual manufacturing capacity of 3,000 tons allows us to supply global distributors and industrial end-users across five continents. By maintaining complete control over our manufacturing processes, from drawing raw wire rods to the final vacuum packaging of D100 spools, we ensure consistent product quality that meets CE and ISO9001 standards.

Because 1kg welding spools are frequently used by DIY enthusiasts, light repair shops, and mobile maintenance units, they often experience longer storage times compared to 15kg spools used in high-volume production. This makes robust packaging essential. Unprotected steel wire absorbs atmospheric moisture, forming iron oxides (rust) that can cause wire feeding resistance and weld defect porosity.
Wulian Yuxin resolves this issue by packing each 1kg spool in a thick, heat-sealed plastic bag with a desiccant, or using a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) foil barrier. This protective layer prevents oxygen and moisture from interacting with the wire surface. We then pack the spools into high-strength, double-wall corrugated cardboard cartons to prevent damage during sea transit and long-term storage.
Absorbs residual humidity inside the sealed package, maintaining a relative humidity level below 20% to prevent corrosion initiation.
Creates an active chemical barrier on the wire surface, preventing oxidation during ocean freight transit.
Double-corrugated cartons shield the D100 plastic spools from structural impact during loading and transport.
