ER70S-6 MIG Solid Wire

Designed with controlled manganese (1.40%–1.85%) and silicon (0.80%–1.15%) concentrations. This chemistry provides deoxidation in the weld pool, making it suitable for welding over light oil, mill scale, or rust. The copper coating is controlled to 0.05–0.15 microns to optimize electrical conductivity and prevent copper buildup in contact tips.

Flux-Cored E71T-1C / E71T-1

Manufactured using a premium rutile-based flux core. It features low spatter levels, simple slag removal, and high deposition efficiency in all positions. This allows us to confirm that carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus concentrations fall strictly within acceptable tolerances before the drawing process begins.
What is the impact of copper coating thickness on MIG welding performance?
The copper coating serves two purposes: it prevents corrosion during storage and improves current transfer between the contact tip and the wire. If the copper layer is too thin, the wire is prone to rusting and has higher contact resistance; if it is too thick, copper flakes can accumulate in the liner and contact tip, causing friction issues. We keep the copper coating within 0.05 to 0.15 microns through precise electroplating controls.
Which shielding gases are recommended for ER70S-6 and E71T-1 flux-cored wires?
For solid carbon steel wires like ER70S-6, we recommend an Ar/CO2 mixture (typically 75/25 or 80/20) for spray arc transfer with minimal spatter. 100% CO2 can be used for deep penetration on thicker structural plates. For our E71T-1 flux-cored wire, either 100% CO2 or an Ar/CO2 blend (typically 75/25) is recommended to meet mechanical properties in all welding positions.
How are your packaging and shipping spools protected against sea moisture during ocean freight?
To prevent oxidation during transport, each precision-wound wire spool is wrapped in plastic, vacuum-sealed with a silica gel desiccant packet, and packed in reinforced cardboard boxes. The boxes are then palletized, shrink-wrapped, and loaded into containers.
