ER307LSi is a chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel welding wire designed primarily for joining dissimilar steels, armor steels, and wear-resistant steels. The high manganese content (typically 5.0% to 7.0%) suppresses the risk of hot cracking during the solidification process by forming a highly stable austenitic structure, while the addition of silicon (0.65% to 1.00%) improves the wet-out of the weld pool. This makes it a preferred choice for robotic and high-speed automatic MIG/GMAW setups.
