Our ER70S-6 solid wire is engineered using high-grade wire rod (typically sourced from leading domestic steel mills). It features a optimized balance of Silicon (Si) and Manganese (Mn) as deoxidizers. This makes the wire highly tolerant to rust, mill scale, and light oil surface contaminants, yielding clean, pore-free welds even on structural steel with minor preparation.
