The Engineering Science Behind Our Premium Solder Wires

Our manufacturing philosophy centers on chemical precision and mechanical consistency. The copper-coated solid wire ER70S-6 (AWS A5.18) relies on heightened levels of Manganese (Mn) and Silicon (Si) to act as deoxidizers. This makes it highly tolerant to rust, mill scale, and paint residues left on base metals, preventing the formation of porosity inside the weld joint.

For structural and outdoor projects, our E71T-1C Flux-Cored wire contains a specialized rutile-based flux core. It offers rapid-freezing slag to support out-of-position welding (flat, horizontal, vertical-up, and overhead). It operates with low spatter and produces a smooth, easily removable slag cover, revealing a pristine weld bead.
